Zak Wear, Creator

Zak brings 10 years of experience as a community organizer, campaign strategist and communications researcher.

As a research analyst for the Topos Partnership, Zak develops national framing strategies for clients such as AARP, the Ford Foundation, Union of Concerned Scientists, among other non profit advocates.

In 2012 he settled down in Richmond, CA and organized corporate money-free campaigns for state and local office. In 2016 he managed the Measure L-OVE campaign, making Richmond, CA the first new rent control city in 33 years.

A graduate of Guilford College (B.A. Political Sciences,) Zak studied and practiced consensus decision-making process concerning Quaker worship, student government and worker-owned cooperative management.
